Blogging Guidelines and Rules

29 08 2007

Dear parents and students.

These are important guidelines for safe usage of the blogs and the internet.

Please review them with your student tonight and leave a comment.

For example: Which is the most difficult for you to remember?

1.NEVER use your full name or any other student’s or adult’s name as your own.

2. NEVER share personal information (age, address, tlephone, email, school, etc.)

3. ANYTIME you post or comment as a group, everyone has to agree on the response.

4. When posting or commenting as an individual, USE ONLY YOUR INITIALS OR YOUR FIRST NAME. We will know who you are.

5. Anytime you post or comment, use only KIND WORDS. (appropriate language only)
You may disagree with someone as long as you are POLITE and back it up with a reason.

6. EDIT your responses for spelling, grammar, and punctuation.
